Blood Donor Apheresis Specialist II

Well hello there Bloggers,
I know it's been forever and a day since I've made an entry, but I promise...I have been working hard to save lives. Right now there is a Nationwide blood shortage and my team and I are working long hours to put blood on the shelves in Baton Rouge. When I got this promotion, I knew that there would be alot of responsibility, but Dear Lord...I had no clue about the stress that would come with it. I stay stressed... I work outrageous hours...and I am always concerned about the number of "O negative" units we have in the blood bank. With all that being said, I still have to sit back, sigh then think, "Lord, I love my job!" I really do.
I worked a very long shift today, in a four hour span, i did manage to get 13 units of blood, which is a good average. I wish I had time to write more, but tonight... I'd rather be sleeping. For all of my readers, God Bless you and your families, until next time...Peace Be With You!

Oh, cool! Now I am full circle... blogging AND commenting. Go, Mo! Glad that we are all connected now off caringbridge, in another world. I can't wait to tell Don about your blog! He is always messing with me about not being in mine! He is on his way to get Ellie some MOtrin and Pedialyte because my little lady is NOT better. She was burning up when I got home from a board meeting this evening. Her Uncle Don is worried about his little niece! Tell Zhonn to "go girl go" with that training. I will visit her site soon. Mo
