Good Morning All,
I woke up this morning to find an email from Don Raborn waiting for me in my inbox. He has agreed to send me the Jake Owen Raborn Foundation Video so LifeShare Blood Center can use it to show their employees! Yay!
I also woke up with Maddie girl on my mind. I had a piece of toast for breakfast while my Dog sat at my feet. Maddie girl had breakfast with God this morning. I can only imagine what that table setting was like.
For some reason, these last few days have just had me really thinking about what I can do to support these causes. Zhohn and I are just ready to volunteer our time, or SOMETHING... Some ideas... what ever we can come up with. "Shake For Jake 2008" is in June and we are indeed making plans to attend, but what will we do once we get there? This needs a prayer, I believe!
I wish I had more to say, but my thoughts and words are just rambling together in my head today...So I will leave you with the words to one of my favorite hymns... It reminds me of all of my CaringBridge Kids:
There is coming a day, when no heartache shall come
No more clouds in the sky, no more tears to dim the eye
All is peace forever more, on that happy golden shore
What a day, Glorious day that will be
What a day that will be, when my Jesus I shall see
And I look upon his face, the one who saved me by his grace
When he takes me by the hand, and leads me through the Promised Land
What a day, Glorious day that will be.
There'll be no sorrows there, no more burdens to bear
No more sickness nor pain, no more parting over there
And Forever I will be, with the one who died for me
What a day, Glorious day that will be.
Believing,
Casey
