Hello out there to all of my readers (all 2 of you),
This ankle thing has really got me down...Not down as in, I cant leave the bed, I mean down as in I am getting depressed just sitting at home all the time. The Dogs are starting to roll their eyes at me again...Well all of them except Maggie. She just likes to chew on my ears. She's still a baby, so therefore she still enjoys my company. I let her sleep with me for an hour this morning. I swear that dog was spooning with me when i woke up this afternoon. (I slept until 1:30pm)
Today is Monday...Therapy day. (mental therapy...not physical) I did manage to get my shoe on over my foot so I could drive to Baton Rouge to see Jill (what i call my therapist when I blog about her...its not really her name). I had a great tearfilled session again today...got alot off of my chest. We talked about my one year anniversary for my mastectomy... I got alot out...I wish i'd been seeing her last year when I was going through all of this! Now that its all over...I just had to rehash it to her. That was quick and easy. I'm better now.
Zhohn sent me an IM telling me she had no motivation to write her Bi-monthly St. Jude email. I had nothing to share with her except my own story... But she already knew my story so I dont know if she used it or not.
I stayed up until 5:00am this morning watching Zodiac! OMG... That movie was SOO freakin' long and drawn out. It scared the poop outta me and THEN at the end, they didnt even catch the killer... The one part that creeped me out was when the killer picked up a woman and her baby on the side of the road. He got them in the car, then as he drove off he looked at the woman then said, "Before I kill you, I am going to throw your baby out of the window!" AHHHHHHHHHH! OH MY GOSH! That one part of the movie had me creeped out so bad all I could do was snuggle close to Maggie (the puppy) and Lexi (My Stuffed Teddy bear). I think the one thing that made it scary was the fact that it was based on a true story!
Note to self: Dont watch scary movies late at night you idiot!
Tonight's movie choice is Fracture. I'm not sure what its about, but it stars Anthony Hopkins, and his characters are always crazy!
So anyway...Those are my days events. Sorry it's nothing more interesting...but nothing fun happens when you dont leave the house.
Believe,
Casey
